Shepard: "Owwwww owwwww owww! It hurts!"
Me: "What hurts, sweetie?"
S: "My finger. Owwwwwww."
Me: "Aw, let me see..." (going in for the kisses)
S: "I don't need kisses, I need p'roxide."

Me: "I thought it made them look pretty."
S: "Oh. Are they MAGENTA?"
