Shepard Giles Jones arrived on Wednesday, June 30 at 5:55 pm. He was 7 lbs. and 12 oz. and 21 inches long.
Nurses: Michelle and Jessica--thanks ladies!
Dr. Hansen-Lindner helped us get him into the world as well.
He came out just perfect--a cute newborn, not wrinkly or swollen, though of course we would love him no matter what.
It was a long day of labor and contractions and lying still. But not nearly as hard or scary or terrible as I had imagined. And everyone was right--when I heard that cry I was overwhelmed.
